FeedVantage — Legal & Compliance

1. Introduction

FeedVantage ("the Platform") is a poultry production intelligence system offering feed formulation, financial simulation, sell-off forecasting, health diagnostics and operational analytics. It is owned and operated by Nosant Technologies (Private) Limited ("Nosant", "we", "our", "us"). By opening an account or using FeedVantage, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding agreements. If using the Platform on behalf of a company or farm, you confirm you have the authority to do so.

3. Account & Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your FeedVantage login details. Any actions taken from your account are assumed to be authorised by you. Nosant is not liable for losses caused by weak, reused or shared passwords.

4. Services

FeedVantage provides tools for feed optimisation, production forecasting, cost modelling, health symptom analysis and general decision-support. These analytics do not replace expert veterinary or financial advice.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Use FeedVantage for illegal or harmful activities.
• Disrupt platform operations or attempt unauthorised access.
• Upload harmful scripts, bots or automated tools.
• Scrape, copy, export or resell FeedVantage data without permission.
• Misrepresent your identity or farm/business details.

6. Intellectual Property

All algorithms, models, code, UI, brand assets and analytics are the intellectual property of Nosant Technologies. You receive a license to use the Platform; you do not own the underlying technology, databases or models.

7. Your Data

You retain ownership of your farm data. By using FeedVantage, you grant permission to store, process and analyse your data as needed to provide, maintain and improve the Platform.

8. Model & AI Limitations

Predictions and suggestions are based on patterns, datasets and assumptions. They are estimates, not guarantees. You remain responsible for operational decisions.

9. Billing & Subscriptions

FeedVantage may offer paid plans in the future. Subscriptions will auto-renew unless cancelled. Payments, cancellations and refunds are governed by the Refund & Billing Policy below.

10. Limitation of Liability

Nosant is not liable for indirect damages, production losses, livestock mortality, profit loss, or decisions made using FeedVantage outputs. Liability is capped at the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, fraud, misuse or non-payment. You may close your account anytime by contacting us.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe.

1. Data We Collect

FeedVantage may collect:

• Name, email, phone and account information.
• Farm batches, feed usage, sales, mortality and production logs.
• Device, location (if provided), IP and browser data.
• Login audit logs and security-related metadata.
• Support messages and diagnostic interaction data.

2. How Data Is Used

We use data to:

• Authenticate users.
• Run FeedVantage features.
• Improve model accuracy and system performance.
• Provide support and detect fraud/security threats.
• Communicate important platform updates.

3. Legal Basis

Data is processed based on: contract necessity, legitimate interest, and in some jurisdictions, consent.

4. Data Sharing

We only share data with trusted service providers (hosting, email, analytics). We do not sell your data. Information may be disclosed if required by law.

5. Security

We apply encryption, access control and infrastructure security. No system is 100% secure.

6. Retention

Data is kept as long as your account is active or as required by law. You may request certain data deletions.

7. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, export or deletion by contacting info@nosant.co.zw.

8. Policy Updates

Privacy terms may be updated. Material changes will be communicated.

1. Fair Use

You must use FeedVantage responsibly and legally.

2. Prohibited Activities

• Illegal activities or harmful conduct.
• Uploading malware or attempting security breaches.
• Reverse engineering models or database structures.
• Scraping or reselling data without permission.
• Artificially stressing the system or generating fraudulent activity.
• Harassing staff or attempting to destabilise the platform.

3. Enforcement

Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.

1. Decision-Support

FeedVantage diagnostics and advisory tools are designed to support decisions—not to provide medical or veterinary advice. Outputs are predictive and may not reflect all farm conditions.

2. No Veterinary-Client Relationship

Using FeedVantage does not create a veterinarian-client relationship.

3. User Responsibility

You remain responsible for livestock health actions and outcomes.

1. Subscriptions

Future subscription plans may include monthly or yearly payment options. Plans renew automatically until cancelled.

2. Payments

Payments must be made through supported channels such as card, mobile money or bank transfer.

3. Refunds

Refunds may be granted for:

• Duplicate billing.
• Technical errors preventing use of the platform.
• Cases required by law.

Refunds are not granted for:

• Change of mind.
• Farm outcomes, performance losses or disease results.
• Misuse or violation of policies.
